Complex Network of Individuals Allegedly Involved

Assistant, Doctors, and Alleged Drug Dealer Charged

On Wednesday, a federal grand jury indicted five individuals, including Matthew Perry's live-in assistant, two doctors, and an alleged drug dealer known as the "Ketamine Queen."

The indictment accuses the defendants of conspiring to provide drugs that led to Perry's death on October 28, 2023.

Key Figure: "Ketamine Queen"

Among the defendants is Jasveen Sangha, 41, allegedly known as the "Ketamine Queen." Prosecutors accuse her of selling 50 vials of ketamine to Perry. Ketamine is an anesthetic often used for veterinary purposes but has gained notoriety as a recreational drug.

According to the indictment, Sangha allegedly supplied the drugs that led to Perry's overdose death.

  • Dr. Salvador Plasencia, 42, also known as "Dr. P"
  • Dr. Kimberly Melton, 40
  • An acquaintance of Perry

Charges and Allegations

The defendants face charges of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, which carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. Sangha is also charged with distribution of controlled substances, punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

Prosecutors allege that the defendants were motivated by greed and conspired to provide drugs to Perry despite his addiction.
